Bad Example!!

Another affect of all this switching Conferences..........

All this moving around sends a negative message to recruits... The life line of college sports!
Schools saying they are going to one conference but months later go to another…..
Thus the big trend in recruiting is to committee early to a school and then a month or so later decommittee from that school......
Reopen your recruiting as to take more visits while keeping the school you decommitted from around just in case you don't like the other places better....
But how can we blame the kids for not keeping their word???
When the adults in charge are doing the very same thing!!!
Whatever happened to a person’s word in all they have?
That used to be how people were measured....
Now it is all what can I get for me me me me me me me me me me.......
Is it the end of the world? No....
But it may be the start :(
One thing is for sure...
Both of these problems make coaching a lot less enjoyable!

All this Conference movement has become crazy!!!
Some AD's are chasing the all mighty dollar......
Some College Presidents want meaningless respect due to conference affiliation??? Crazy
None of which is in the best interest of the Athlete....
Traveling across the country creates longer trips...
This leads to more missed classes... Stupid!!!
Not to mention the higher cost of travel because if your Football, Men's and Women's basketball have to make all those long trips...
So does softball, baseball, golf, tennis, swimming ect....
You get the picture! Again Stupid!!
Especially in these hard economic times when people are struggling to pay their bills much less college tuition....
But the decision makers seem not care....
They do not even consulate their own head coaches....
Maybe the football coach?? Maybe??
We do not have to sacrifice this much to have profitable college conferences!
Never have before...
Bring back the Southwest Conference!!!!
Whatever happened to regional rivalries???
They are all about to disappear... SAD and UNNECESSARY

Who Should Care More??

It is hard when you can see it and they cannot....
When you want it for then and they seem not to care...
It is hard when you put the time and effort in to help and they struggle at every turn...
When all you get is attitude for making them do what they should be doing in the first place...
It is hard when you care more than they do...
When all they want to do is laugh and have fun... Never taking anything serious...
It is hard when you feel a sense of urgency....
When they think no matter there actions everything will turn out ok....
Why do young people not want to invest in their own future?????????
